ille : (masc. nom. sing.) THAT (house) is filthy.
nequaquam : by no means, not at all.
nequaquam : in no wise.
inquit : he, she, it says.
nomen : name.
sed : but/ and indeed, what is more.
quoniam : since, whereas, because.
si : if.
contra : (+ acc.) against.
fortis : strong, brave, powerful, robust, steadfast, courageous.
fortis : valiant.
quanto : by how much (+ comp. adj. or adv.).
