quidem : adv, in truth, certainly, at least, indeed.

terra : earth, ground, land, country, soil.
trunco : maim, mutilate, mangle /imperfect, not whole, missing a part.
repente : suddenly, unexpectedly.
turbo : hurricane. tornado, that which spins.
