ergo : (gen. +) on account of, because of.
ergo : (adv.) accordingly, then, therefore.
ex : (= e ) (prep. + abl.) out of, from within, from / on account of.
durus : hard, harsh, tough, strong,enduring, / rough, rude, uncouth.
hic : (masc. nom. sing.) THIS (house) is filthy.
hic : (adv.) here.
