mulier : woman.
quia : because.
non : not.
ante : (prep. + acc.) before/ in front of/ (adv.) before, previously.
pedes : going on foot, walking /foot-soldier, infantryman.
illius : (neut. sing. gen.) She paid half OF THAT (the cost).
