ergo : (gen. +) on account of, because of. ergo : (adv.) accordingly, then, therefore. mane : morning, early in the morning, early. uxor : wife, spouse. sicut : as, just as, as it were, (+verb in subj.) just as if. mihi : (dat.) me /give ME land, lots of land.
