pater : patris : father. iam : moreover, henceforth, indeed, just, further. iam : now, by now, already/ presently, immediately, soon. laetus : glad delighted. quia : because. te : (acc.) you /i got YOU, babe. te : (abl.) you /no one's sweeter than YOU. relinquo : to leave behind, bequeath/abandon, forsake.
