verbum : word. enim : in fact, truly, indeed. enim : for, in fact, truly (may often be omitted). praeceptum : preceptum : instruction, injunction, command, precept. illius : (neut. sing. gen.) She paid half OF THAT (the cost). illius : (masc. fem. neut. gen. sing.) Go ahead, eat some OF THAT. illius : (fem. sing. gen.) They are fond OF THAT (change). irritum : nothingness, worthlessness, vanity. idcirco : on that account, for that reason, for that purpose.
