optimates : the aristocratic party.
optimates : magnates, great lords, the best people, the upper class.
enim : in fact, truly, indeed.

iudicium : judgment, decision, opinion, trial.
sui : himself, herself, itself.
ecce : Lo! Behold! See!.
magis : more, to a greater extent, rather, for preference.
simul : at once, at the same time, together.
