tunc : then, at that time, next, and then.
messis : the harvest, in-bringing, crop.
quidem : indeed, certainly, at least/ ne .. quidem : not .. even.
quidem : adv, in truth, certainly, at least, indeed.
autem : but, on the other hand, however, moreover, also.
pauci : few, a few, some.
